Skip Planed Oak Floors (“Tavern” Floor)

Skip Planed Oak

Skip Planed Oak Flooring at the Philadelphia Home Show

Our most popular oak floor is a “skip planed” oak floor reclaimed from original barn boards…

Made from “original” boards, not resawn from beams. This means that boards were originally 1-2″ thick so the original character of the board is exposed (i.e. sawmarks, nail holes, etc).

Skip planing takes only the high spots of the board off, leaving much of the original surfaces while creating an even, straight board for installation.

Width: Random 3-11″

Lengths: Random 4-12′

Thickness: 3/4″

Sold ready to install, kiln dried, with tongues and groove.
