Reclaimed Grey & Brown Barnwood Siding

Antique barn siding has a look all its own. Reclaimed grey and brown barn wood is the original, unpainted exterior surface of a barn’s siding that has been weathered by years of exposure to the elements. No two boards are exactly alike.

Just as each barn has a distinct character of its own, each side of a barn has its unique traits. Each side of the building  displays a different degree of wear depending on its exposure to the sun, wind and other elements. Within the grey and brown color palette is a vast range of tonality and texture. In a typical “batch” of unpainted weathered barnwood, you can expect to find shades ranging from light brown to gray.

Reclaimed grey and brown barn siding can be used as exterior siding or interior paneling.

Restoring History. Preserving the Environment.

“The pioneer’s love of wood and his skill in using it, as well as surviving examples of it, are fast disappearing. To try to revive an understanding and adoration for wood seems as hopeless as trying to bring back the horse and buggy. But to revive the eloquence of those times is indeed worthwhile.”
