Hand painted leaded glass
Your guess is as good as ours on these….these four “windows” (?) were removed from a Philadelphia church during recent renovations. The interior circle seems to be reverse hand-painted bubbly glass secured with lead. That is surrounded by what appears to be a more modern plexiglass of sorts with hand painted black lines separating a kaleidoscope of colors. The paintings in the circle are of the Ten Commandments, the Bible and sickle, a Dove and a Lamb with Flag.
Measurements are as follows:
Inner circles all measure 15 3/4″
Full panels:
Ten commandments 48″ high, 46 7/8″ wide
Dove: 48″ hih and 47 1/4″ wide
Lamb with flag: 46 5/8″ high, 47 5/8″ wide
Bible and sickle: 48″ high, 46 5/8″ wide
