One of the most exciting parts of our business is exploring the old buildings we may take down. The best case scenario is that the frame can be rebuilt. Second to that is finding beautiful reclaimed wood that we can salvage. But even if neither of those two things happen, going onto these farmsteads and into these time machines is an adventure all in its’ own: and one that often yields other treasures that aren’t our primary purpose, but sometimes are the most thrilling part of what we do.
